Summer in Scheffau at the Wilden Kaiser
Our Guesthouse Aloisia is situated at the entrance of Scheffau, the smallest parish of the Wilder Kaiser region, with its charm of an authentic farmers village. Scheffau features an eagle in its local emblem and the famous long distance hiking trail of Tirol – The Eagle Trail – also runs along in the mountain range right above.
Fresh running water plays a major role in Scheffau. Along the village brook in the forest runs the invigorating “Kneipp-Path”. With cold basins for the legs and arms on the picturesque little square next to the church, and natural wellness in the open wood pavilion, where you inhale the essential air of salt water pouring over fir tree twigs.
Hiking without Limits
Comfortably a total of 13 cable cars bring you to the top of the regional mountains in summer. For prices and information: Bergwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental.
Lake Hinterstein
The clearest and most beautiful mountain lake of Tirol is also ours! Lake Hinterstein with its turquoise water invites you at the little public swimming bath or calls for a hike along its shores. You reach the lake on foot in an hour, as well as by car or bus – free with the GuestCard.
